Bill Chrystal is Alexander Hamilton

Library Testimonials

Williamsburg Library This was a positive experience all the way around—Bill [Hamilton] was easy to work with; he promoted our event on a local radio talk show, which helped bring in new faces to our library; the audience exceeded our seating capacity and overflowed into the hallways--and they stayed!  In fact, Hamilton's interactive presentation was so engaging people stayed after to ask more questions! We received positive feedback even after the event. I give Hamilton two thumbs up!

Hamilton drew a BIG and varied crowd!  Many were new to our library and the audience was so jazzed that a significant group stayed after and chatted with Hamilton for over an hour!  Bill Chrystal (Hamilton) was very easy to work with, from his simple contract to his desire to help make our event a success.  He was flexible and able to accommodate our institution’s needs.  His presentation was spontaneous and unique, flowing with our audiences' questions.  Hamilton helped them sort out today's world using the lens of this intriguing founding father.  Chrystal made my job easy and Hamilton made the library look good, really good!

We had the pleasure of seeing you perform as Alexander Hamilton last year at the Smithfield Patriots Day:  the Hamilton/Jefferson Debate.  Bravo on your compelling Hamilton program last night at the James City County Library!  We found your presentation compelling, educational, and motivating!  Your ability to engage the audience is superb, and our one regret is that the time allocated for the presentation was far too short!  We plan to contact the President of the Williamsburg Regional Library Board to recommend you be re-engaged, as a minimum, annually, to bring to life a Founding Father from whom we want to learn far more.  We compliment your bravery in traveling to the heart of the "Washington-Jefferson-Madison-Monroe" country to present an alternate viewpoint!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed your presentation at the James City County Library.  Everyone in attendance seemed to enjoy it too, as evidenced from the lively question and answer session that followed the performance.  I hope you got pictures of the overflow audience, sitting on the floor, on the windowsills and lining the entrance...then you can surely get a larger space for your next performance!

I live right across the street from the Boston Public Library so it is easy for me to attend lectures and author talks, but seeing and hearing Alexander Hamilton was among the best events I have ever attended.  He clarified some things for me about Hamilton, Jefferson and Adams.  He made me want to read more about that time in our nation's history.  Bill Chrystal is a great inspiration to study history!  Thanks for coming to Boston!

Robin Buckalew Great timing!  Bill, you are so poised and confident; and, you put your audience at ease with the obvious depth of understanding and comfort with your material.  Your laugh is so warm and disarming!
